1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PayMySkills (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. PayMySkills is a marketplace connecting clients with freelancers and local service providers in Pakistan. By clicking to accept these Terms, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to every clause below.
2. Eligibility & Age Confirmation
You must be at least 18 years old to use PayMySkills. By accepting these Terms, you explicitly confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. Providing false age information is a violation of these Terms and of Pakistani law, and will result in immediate termination.
3. Data Consent & Storage
By accepting these Terms, you give PayMySkills your explicit permission to securely collect and store your personal data — including your name, contact details, CNIC, identity verification images, and account activity — on our private servers. This data is stored securely and used only to operate the Platform, verify your identity, prevent fraud, and provide our services. You consent to this storage as a condition of using PayMySkills. Without this consent, the Platform cannot function for you.
4. Account & Verification
All users must complete identity verification (KYC) using a valid Pakistani CNIC. Providing false information, using another person's identity, or attempting to bypass verification will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to authorities. You are solely responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
5. Platform Role & Limited Responsibility
PayMySkills is a connection platform that facilitates agreements between clients and freelancers. We do not employ freelancers, guarantee work quality, or take responsibility for the conduct, honesty, or actions of any user. Any agreement for services is made between the client and the freelancer, and both parties accept responsibility for fulfilling their side of that agreement.
6. Commission & Fees
PayMySkills charges a service commission on every completed order. When an order is completed — meaning the freelancer has delivered the agreed work and the client has received it — a commission is applied to the agreed order amount. The freelancer receives the agreed amount minus the applicable commission, and PayMySkills retains the commission as payment for providing the Platform, verification, security, and connection services. The commission rate is displayed during the order process. By placing or accepting an order, both the client and the freelancer agree to this commission.
7. Payments & Order Completion
Payment for an order is handled through the methods provided on the Platform. An order is considered complete once the freelancer delivers the agreed work and the client confirms receipt. Both parties receive what was agreed: the client receives the completed work, and the freelancer receives the agreed payment minus the Platform commission. Users are responsible for their own tax obligations under Pakistani law.
8. Disputes & Post-Completion Limitation
PayMySkills provides tools to help users communicate and track orders before completion. However, once a freelancer has delivered the work, the client has received it, the order is marked complete, and payment has been settled, PayMySkills is no longer able to mediate, reverse, or provide support for that transaction. After completion and payment, the matter is considered closed between the two parties, and any further disagreement is the sole responsibility of the client and freelancer. Users are strongly advised to confirm all details and satisfaction before marking an order complete.
9. User Conduct & Prohibited Behavior
You agree not to: share contact information to move transactions off-platform; post illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; attempt to scam, defraud, or manipulate money from other users; or violate any Pakistani law including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016. These rules are strict and enforced. Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent ban.
10. Threats, Harassment & Harm Between Users
PayMySkills strictly prohibits threatening, harassing, blackmailing, or attempting to financially manipulate any other user. If a user engages in such behavior while using the Platform, they do so in direct violation of these Terms, which they have accepted. The responsibility for such actions lies entirely with the user who committed them. As all users operate under these accepted Terms and Conditions, PayMySkills shall not be held accountable for harm, threats, or financial manipulation carried out by one user against another. Such users act on their own behalf and bear full personal and legal responsibility for their conduct.
11. Prohibited Services
Services that are illegal, sexual, harmful, or that violate Pakistani law are strictly prohibited. PayMySkills uses AI moderation and human review to detect violations. We reserve the right to remove any service or content at our sole discretion.
12. Security & Anti-Reverse-Engineering
Any attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, its servers, its databases, or the data of other users — through hacking, reverse engineering, exploitation of vulnerabilities, or any other unauthorized method — is strictly forbidden and will be met with zero tolerance. Any person who attempts or carries out such actions will face legal action and must be prepared to answer before a court of law in Pakistan. PayMySkills will fully cooperate with law enforcement to prosecute such individuals to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Reviews & Ratings
Reviews must be honest and based on real experiences. Fake reviews, review manipulation, or retaliatory reviews are prohibited. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.
14. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your personal information is removed, but certain records (such as your CNIC for fraud prevention and transaction history for dispute resolution) may be retained as permitted by law.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any freelancer or client will meet your expectations.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PayMySkills and its founder shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to disputes between users, financial losses, threats, fraud, or service quality issues. You use the Platform at your own risk.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, including changes to the commission rate. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes where possible.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. By using the Platform, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan for any dispute arising from your use of PayMySkills or violation of these Terms.
